Human Design Profiles in Children
Those funny fraction-type numbers in Human Design form our profile. Human Design profiles are one of my favourite things to explore with clients.
Human Design profile numbers are based on the ancient i-ching hexagram – the first number represents the energy you are usually more conscious of – it will probably feel very familiar – while the second is subconscious – and is usually how others see you. When I go through a client’s human design chart it’s very often the discussion about their profile that brings up responses like “Oh yep, that’s me!”
Our profile helps us to understand our role in life.
There are 12 possible combinations and each one has an intricate and beautiful essence that weaves its way through your nature – whatever energy type you are.
Human Design Profiles and our Children
When we look at Human Design profiles for our children, it can also uncover so much about their personality, even from a young age. I find this so true with my 1/3 reflector daughter (I’m also 1/3) and my 5/2 projector daughter (hubby is a 2/4) so there is lots of overlap amongst the 4 of us.
Below I’ve broken down some of the more rigid Human Design language into easier to apply language for each profile line.
Line 1 kids are the eternal investigators, discoverers, truth seekers – let them get to the bottom of whatever has their interest.
Line 2 kids might prefer extended time alone, to uncover things for themselves, and not always need or enjoy the stimulation of others around them.
Line 4 children are often magnetic to others and enjoy bringing harmony to their inner circle.
Line 5 kids are very often guides for others and might experience others ‘projecting’ onto them for them to react, and respond to.
Line 6 children – are just like line 3 (until they reach 28-30 years old!) so are all about the experiment, trial and error, jumping into things. Encourage them!
